Multicultural Week: Photo Story: Around the Horseshoe

First stop: Curly Fries

                                                                           Donuts!
Chocolate cake! See the trend? Most of the stalls
only sold unhealthy food so the students would buy them!
                                                                           Snapple

These hardworking students made our multicultural week that much
better with all the delicious food!

Multicultural week Pt 2

As you can see, Multicultural week is a very popular and somewhat chaotic time of the school year. Kids will do anything to get first in line for their favorite exotic food. Not only are the kids helping themselves to the exceptional cuisines of various cultures, but some are the ones selling them, trying to raise funds for their club. Multicultural week reflects multiple levels of maturity from our students from understanding of racial diversity to independence and hard work. This annual tradition will surely be remembered by many as they progress on in life.

Multicultural Week

This week in Mission San Jose High School, we are celebrating a plethora of cultures for one week called Multicultural week. Not only do we get to eat great tasting and exotic food everyday, but we get to delve into the vast variety of cultures, learn more about them, and broaden are minds even more. We get to see various performances from different countries and see how amazing these countries really are. The spirit in our school is breathtaking as each student represents their own ethnicity with pride. The appreciation for such a diverse school is sky high and will continue to make us proud. With all the racial problems in our world today, it is crucial that kids understand that everyone is equal no matter where they are from and what color they are. Multicultural week teaches us to respect differnt races and to always remeber that we are equals.

Shutter Speed and Everything After

From Lens Blog: 1) The photo had fast shutter speed because the picture has a truck in motion and it's clarity is very good
2) Rules of composition: Leading Lines and Rule of Thirds
3) Element of Art: Space because there is a lot of area between and around the trucks
4) Principle of Design: Movement because the trucks are moving in the picture
^ shutter speed: 1/120s
